As the Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integrations at CORA Physical Therapy, you will lead the strategic and operational integration of newly acquired practices into CORA's established clinical, operational, financial, technology, and people ecosystem. What You'll Do

As the Vice President, M&A Integrations at CORA, you'll:

  • Lead the successful integration of acquired organizations into CORA’s clinical, operational, financial, technology, and people operating model.
  • Design and build CORA’s integration function, including recruiting and developing key team members.
  • Partner with executive leadership throughout the due diligence process to assess organizational readiness, identify risks, evaluate operational gaps, and develop transition strategies.
  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide integration strategies that minimize disruption while accelerating adoption of CORA’s standards and best practices.
  • Own Day One readiness, transition planning, and post-close integration execution, including 30-, 60-, and 100-day integration plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination across functional teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution of all integration activities.
  • Provide hands-on leadership to field operations, clinical teams, corporate functions, and acquired practices throughout the integration journey.
  • Guide founders, owners, and acquired leadership teams through the transition from independent operations to CORA’s operating model.
  • Identify high-performing practices, capabilities, and talent within acquired organizations that can be scaled across the enterprise.
  • Lead communication, onboarding, and change management efforts to ensure employees understand CORA’s mission, culture, systems, and expectations.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms with acquired employees and leaders to continuously improve the integration experience.
  • Oversee operational performance during the stabilization period and ensure a smooth transition to long-term operations leadership.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, acquisitions, integration management, business transformation, or multi-site operations.
  • Physical therapy industry experience preferred.
  • Proven success leading complex organizational change initiatives and integrations.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Exceptional time management, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • High emotional intelligence and sound judgment, particularly when leading organizations through change.
  • Ability to work independently, drive accountability, and deliver results with urgency.
  • Demonstrated integrity, initiative, flexibility, and follow-through.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively to support newly acquired practices across CORA’s geographic footprint.
  • Typical travel ranges from 25% to 50%, with up to 100% travel during key acquisition and integration periods, including overnight travel.
