What You'll Do

As the Senior Vice President of People, you'll:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO on organizational design, leadership development, succession planning, and talent strategy.
  • Lead annual talent reviews and organizational planning initiatives that foster a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals and support rapid organizational growth.
  • Build scalable people processes and infrastructure to support expansion and M&A activity.
  • Drive organizational transformation through leadership development, change management, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor key HR metrics to evaluate effectiveness and market competitiveness.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee development programs.
  • Lead executive recruiting efforts and support the acquisition of top leadership talent.
  • Guide due diligence and human capital integration efforts associated with mergers and acquisitions.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the HR team.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Partner with company ownership and executive leadership on critical workforce initiatives.
  • Champion a culture consistent with CORA's values and commitment to treating people right.

 

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, MBA, or Juris Doctor preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level responsibilities.
  • Proven experience serving as a strategic partner to CEOs and executive leadership teams.
  • Strong expertise in organizational design, succession planning, leadership development, talent management, and employee engagement.
  • Experience building HR infrastructure within growing organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading change initiatives in complex, multi-level organizations.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with HRIS and cloud-based talent management systems.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred.
  • Private equity-backed company experience and exposure to IPO or other exit strategies preferred.
