This role would be in our Ballwin clinic 3 days/week and 2 days per week traveling within the region performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations, as needed. You will also be responsible for performing peer reviews and active audits for prospective specialty program clients.

What You'll Do

As a Worker's Compensation Specialty Evaluator and Physical Therapist Assistant at CORA, you’ll:

  • Perform worker’s compensation active peer review to monitor worker’s compensation progression, monitor documentation and assure all scripts are correct, monitor completion and delivery of weekly status report and monitor charges
  • Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations as needed
  • Perform onsite services within the scope of each individual’s state licensure
  • Verbally report significant information or changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate therapist immediately
  • Assist with the maintenance of patient medical records and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Travel as required
  • Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist
  • Progress patients skillfully and safely through the levels of treatment with the maximum capabilities of the patient.
  • Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding process and changes in patients' conditions
  • Document all treatment and other pertinent patient interaction in accordance with CORA policies.
  • Assist with Workers' Compensation marketing

 

What You’ll Need

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license 
  • Previous experience with Worker’s Compensation recommended but not required
  • Marketing experience preferred
