As a Rapid Referral Coordinator at CORA Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for processing referral intakes for Workers Compensation Case Managers, Adjustors, and Commercial Accounts. You’ll play a key role in ensuring patients are scheduled promptly and accurately, contributing to a seamless care experience. This is a full-time, remote position.

What You'll Do

As a Rapid Referral Coordinator at CORA, you’ll:

  • Answer phone calls promptly and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Accurately enter referral and patient demographic information into CPAS II.
  • Schedule appointments at the most convenient CORA clinic based on services, location, and patient preference.
  • Contact patients to confirm initial evaluations.
  • Send appointment confirmations including mileage, time, facility, date, clinic address, and contact details.
  • Request re-authorizations after initial visits are completed.
  • Distribute intake sheets and scripts to clinics.
  • Notify referral sources of patient no-shows, cancellations, or reschedules.
  • Maintain tracking and communication logs.
  • Conduct chart audits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Prior experience in healthcare coordination or customer service preferred.
