As the Payer Relations Analyst at CORA Physical Therapy, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Payer Relations Department under the direction of the Payer Relations Manager. This role is responsible for managing daily payer relations activities including enrollment issues, revalidations, collections, and supporting staff with contracting and payer-related concerns. This is a full-time, remote position.

What You'll Do
As a Payer Relations Analyst at CORA, you’ll:

Serve as the point person for all non-credentialing related payor issues.
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and operational teams to resolve high-priority payer disputes
- Develop and maintain relationships with the provider contacts at all major payors.
- Monitor payer compliance with contractual terms and escalate discrepancies.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate credentialing and collections denials to leadership
- Assist with CAQH (re) attestation requests, new location entries, and update annual professional liability insurance renewals.
- Assist with tracking license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals & maintain copies of current state licenses.
- Assists with audit health plan directories for current and accurate provider information as needed.
- Assist Payer Relations Specialist with provider credentialing and recredentialing applications as needed.
- Monitors email for credentialing issues and facilitates follow up with the appropriate Payer Relations Specialist.
- Assist with coordinating information shared by Government Payer Relations team and Payer Relations Specialist.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Payer Relations Manager.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Minimum of two years’ work experience within a health services organization
- Convey positive professional image
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Self-starter who can work independently and also work well within a team
- High level of integrity, initiative and follow-through, with appropriate handling of confidential credentialing data
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with multi-level staff
- Good organizational skills and ability to coordinate efforts and ensure follow-through.
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and commercial payer guidelines
- Familiarity with credentialing software (e.g., Modio, CAQH), payer enrollment systems and portals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams and Excel
