Join CORA Physical Therapy as a Central Admissions Supervisor, where you’ll support and guide a high-performing team responsible for referral management, insurance verification, scheduling, and patient communication. In this leadership role, you’ll train and mentor team members, ensure operational excellence, oversee daily workflow, and collaborate closely with the Central Admissions Manager on reporting, hiring, metrics, and process improvement. This is a full-time position.

What You’ll Do

As a Central Admissions Supervisor at CORA, you will:

  • Lead and support the Central Admissions Team in referral management, admissions, insurance verification, scheduling, and phone communication.
  • Train new team members and ensure all staff receive ongoing education, development, and performance feedback.
  • Provide daily operational oversight, including maintaining multiple clinic schedules.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through prompt, professional communication on all incoming calls.
  • Collaborate with the Central Admissions Manager on problem-solving, team performance, disciplinary support, and hiring.
  • Generate and complete required reports, metrics, and updates on team progress.
  • Monitor team performance against daily and weekly benchmark goals in compliance, service levels, processes, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster an inspiring team culture built on trust, communication, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Verify a wide variety of patient insurance plans, including benefits, copayments, limitations, and visit authorizations.
  • Provide operational coverage as needed across any administrative role within Central Admissions.
  • Encourage recognition, celebrate wins, and support a positive and engaged team environment.
  • Assist administrative staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain strong relationships with providers and collaborate with leadership on organizational changes.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and follow all CORA policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • 2+ years of experience with insurance verification/pre-certification preferred
  • Knowledge of online insurance verification tools and office procedures preferred
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, standard applications)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
