As a Billing Specialist at CORA Physical Therapy, you would review, verify, and process paper and electronic claims to insurance companies. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, conveys a positive, professional attitude, and takes the initiative to get things done. This position will work with a high volume of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Therapy claims for the 10 states in which we provide therapy services. This work must be completed with a sense of urgency. Our ideal candidates understand 837 files, HCFA and UB04 forms, and have experience with clearing house procedures, including understanding front-end rejections and errors. This is a full-time on-site position with the potential to grow into a hybrid role.

What You'll Do
As a Billing Specialist at CORA, you’ll:
- Run and review an unbilled charge listing report for a specific clinic
- Make corrections as required and/or communicate with clinic personnel errors that need correction
- Process and create claims batch
- Print and verify claims batch (Paper Biller)
- Print claims review report and then verify claims batch (Electronic Biller)
- Mail or transmit claims to insurance companies
What You’ll Need
- 1+ years of experience in Billing/Collections - Ideal candidates understand 837 files, HCFA and UB04 forms, and have experience with clearing house procedures, including understanding front-end rejections and errors
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel is required
- Proficiency in data entry and management
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- High level of personal integrity, reliability and honesty
