As a NATABOC Certified and/or Athletic Trainer, you would be responsible for the treatment and rehabilitation of injured patients/athletes under the direction of the referring physician and supervision of a Physical Therapist. In this role, you may also be involved in community outreach and coverage of local athletic events.

What You’ll Need:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited athletic training/sports medicine program
• Appropriate state license as an athletic trainer (if applicable) and/or current NATABOC certification
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Has ability to travel as needed through local region
What You’ll Do:
• Administer various treatment procedures such as prophylactic strapping/taping; fabrication and fitting of pads or protective devices, temporary splinting, and bracing
• Develop aggressive return to sport/ sport specific activities for the physically active population
• Maintain communication with High School/college ATCs and coaches as well as Sports Medicine Physicians regarding athlete’s progress while be treated in CORA
• Provide community outreach services/coverage of local athletic events as directed by the Director of Sports Medicine
• Provide treatment in accordance with the established treatment plan effectively and efficiently
• Document all treatments and other pertinent patient interactions in accordance with CORA policy
• Develop and maintain effective communication with the patient, family, and other members of the rehabilitation team
• Provide or participate in educational programs for staff, patients, and the community at large
